Entire Home
You’ll have the house to yourself. Guests have access to the entire home and outdoor spaces. There is a small farm with cows, goats, chickens, donkeys and Cali the ultra friendly Great Pyrenees, and goat protector. Guests can visit with them if they so choose.

Enhanced Clean
The home is cleaned and disinfected to the highest standard and in accordance with CDC regulations. We always have a 72 hour window between bookings

An updated, spacious, 4,700 square foot, English Cottage style villa, perched atop 160 acres of lush rolling hills surrounded by pristine beauty. Wonderful and completely private, with gorgeous views from every room. The home itself has been professionally updated, for maximum comfort and enjoyment.

About Our Ranch
The beautiful home is located on 160 acres on the pristine California coast. Gorgeous views of the rolling hills of Cambria and San Simeon from most every room.

The home has been professionally designed with an emphasize on California Casual Chic. From the moment you open the front door, you’ll be hit by a warm and fuzzy feeling as behold the lovingly curated collection of furnishings and art.

Numerous spaces to cozy up with family and friends. Or sprawl out in the open concept gourmet kitchen and relax.

There are numerous hidden gems in the house. In addition you can bask in the sun on the brand new 1,000 square foot deck and enjoy dinner with friends and loved ones, under the gorgeous outdoor, four season pergola. After dinner, grab a big glass of Central California red (or white J) wine and take a bath in the massive master bathroom. After dinner and your bath, refill your wine and take a seat on the deck to enjoy the peace, serenity and incredible quiet and thousands of stars in the night sky. In the morning grab a cup of fresh brewed coffee and take a walk or go for a hike before breakfast.

The property is perched on 160 acres situated in the middle of prime Central California land. Gorgeous oak trees, running creeks and privacy is what this beautiful home is all about.

Moonstone Beach is a short five miles down the country roads. San Simeon is the closest small town named after the famous San Simeon Estate or Hearst Castle, named after William Randolph Hearst. The area is truly one of the most beautiful untouched places in all of California.

We enjoyed every minute of our 3-generation family reunion at Pied Piper Ranch. From star gazing, lounging in various comfy sitting rooms, dining al fresco, to playing in the game room, everyone relaxed and simply soaked in the stunning surrounding. Kids and adults alike had a blast feeding the animals; the carrots and apples we brought for them were a hit! The privacy and beauty in the hills plus the proximity to Cambria and Hearst Castle were perfect for our itinerary. Truthfully, we could have just stayed at this magical ranch and explored more of the grounds or picked up one of the many wonderful books lovingly collected by the host to enjoy time as a group or in quiet personal retreat. Thank you Mary for an unforgettable birthday weekend.

The grounds, and location, were splendid. It felt far away from everything, yet convenient to Cambria. The night sky had amazing visibility, and the animals were a joy to visit with. The home itself had plenty of private nooks, so the whole family will feel like they have their own space.

Exquisite country farm house With magnificent views from every Window. Perfect for a group of women of 10 who just want to escape and hang out maybe go to some wineries or a family who wants a wonderful holiday weekend. Probably not the best for young kids . We love to visiting with the cows and the goats in exploring the grounds. They were wonderful sitting areas in all kinds of little nooks and crannies of the house and outside. We would highly recommend this beautiful home anyone looking to a great vacation away. It was awesome

I almost want to keep this place a secret, but I have to express what an absolutely stellar stay and experience Pied Piper provided us. Pictures truly can’t do it justice.

As we approached the cottage we were greeted by two sweet donkeys. We passed an orchard containing apples that may be the best I’ve ever tasted. The cottage stands at the top of the property over looking the beautiful lush green hills just inland from the coast.

As far as design, the English style cottage exceeded our expectations, with every room thoughtfully and beautifully curated. The property provides so much to explore from incredible views, creeks, apple orchards, wild flowers, friendly goats, and roaming cows. We will make a point to returning to this magical location. We couldn’t have asked for more for a family weekend 💕

Beautiful and fun stay in Cambria for New Year's! Stunning locale and home near biking, hiking and beach plus charm of downtown Cambria or other local sites. Stargazing should not be missed as well as crisp mornings on the patio. Game room for New Year's cocktails, game of pool, darts, or cribbage added to family time. Add a friendly game of croquet on the lawn!

Upon arrival through the main gate we were greater by Sarge and Captain, the two steer. They proceeded to block the road so we couldn’t get past them. We are not at all farm people, so getting them to move was quite amusing.

The house is amazing and full of charm. There’s plenty of space for everyone to relax whether it’s in front of the fire or out on the porch enjoying the views.

We loved picking apples and feeding them to the steer, my boys got a kick out of that. We did lots of hiking and exploring on the property which kept us busy even on the rainy days.

We experienced a few of the most amazing rainbows while here, this is truly a gem of a place and we won’t forget this vacation.
